“A voice that soars.”

The Washington Post

“Outrageous, audacious, sacrilegious and delicious. . . memorable performances are turned in by Aaron Reeder, a stitch as an angry transsexual.”

Embarking on a journey across 3 continents, 8 countries, and 27 cities, 2023 unfolded as a year of thrilling collaborations and emotional theater experiences. Each show became a celebration of new narratives and artistic synergy, enriched by encounters with incredible, inspiring artists who added depth to this incredible odyssey.

  • Sydney Modern Project at the Art Gallery of NSW

I had the wonderful honor of opening this prestigious new venue, marking a memorable highlight in my exploration.

  • Sharjah Biennial 15: Thinking Historically in the Present

Performing at this biennial brought thought-provoking narratives to life through the lens of historical exploration.

  • Metropolitan Opera's 2022-2023 Season

A transforming role in the company premiere of Terence Blanchard's 'CHAMPION,' 2024 Grammy Award for Best Opera Recording. Additional performances in new productions of ‘LOHENGRIN’ and 'DER FLIEGENDE HOLLÄNDER.'

Now, back home, I'm thrilled to sing with the Washington National Opera for the 2023-2024 season, continuing my two-decade collaboration with this acclaimed company. Proud to be part of an opera company committed to nurturing new voices and works, I've showcased my versatility in roles ranging from chorus and featured soloist to special projects. Starting the season with the world premiere of Tony Award-winning composer Jeanine Tesori's 'GROUNDED.'

Grateful for the richness of these encounters, not just in my artistic world but in my life, stay tuned for more exciting updates as I continue to explore new artistic horizons!
